ABCD sponsors the following:

Orchard Grove Apartments - a 24 unit complex in Alliance, Ohio for people who derive the majority of their income from farm labor.  These are the first such units constructed in Ohio.

ABCD Homes I - ABCD has constructed 30 new houses and renovated 10 primarily in the northeast section of Canton.  The houses, financed primarily by tax credits, are designed to blend in with the neighborhood and serve as a basis for revitalization and stabilization of the respective neighborhoods.

ABCD Homes II - includes 35 new units and 3 renovated units.

Cherry Homes - a 30 unit 4 bedroom scattered site houses.

Gateway Place - a 29 unit 4 bedroom scattered site development primarily in the Southeast.  Currently a feasibility study is being conducted on the development of a shopping center in the area.

City of Canton Housing Initiative - 6 units New Construction - Completion by April 2007.

Massillon Homes - 50 units of 4 and 5 bedroom scattered site houses.

Massillon Homes II - a 30 unit complex to be constructed in 2007.

Queen Esther's Estates - 33 Elderly Cottages to be built in Southeast Canton in 2007.

Wilson Pointe - a 40 unit complex for the Elderly to be built in downtown Canton with groundbreaking scheduled for the Spring of 2008.  Wilson Pointe Elderly complex is named after Dr. Doris Wilson who served as former Chairperson of ABCD Board of Directors.

ABCD received funding to launch project F.A.T.E. (Financial Awareness Towards Empowerment) which will provide financial planning for the residents of ABCD Homes along with Entreprenuership and Micro-Business Enterprise components.

Community Housing Development Organization (CHODO) - ABCD is certified as a CHODO by the State, County and City Governments and thus has received funding to acquire and renovate houses and sell them to first time homeowners.  The plans are to continue the programs targeting houses which are in close proximity to the newly constructed houses previously mentioned.

Community Organization - ABCD continues to work with such neighborhood groups as Gateway Association; Concerned Citizens for 4th Ward; Southwest Association of Neighbors; and CANDO to enable them to bring about improvements in their neighborhoods.

HUD Counseling Office - In 2005, ABCD became a certified HUD Counseling Agency through the Mission of Peace CDC, a HUD Intermediary Organization.  This certification will permit ABCD to provide:  Pre/Post Purchasing counseling; Credit Counseling; Down Payment Assistance; Foreclosure Prevention; Reverse Mortgages; Homebuyers Club; Tenant and Rental Issues; Financial Literacy
