CANTON, OHIO - Charter One named Association for Better Community Development as the recipient of the 2007 Housing Heroes Award today in Canton. The Charter One Housing Heroes award spotlights one nonprofit housing developer each year that demonstrates innovative solutions and leadership in creating affordable housing.
Association for Better Community Development (ABCD) was selected as the Charter One Housing Hero because of its excellence in developing affordable housing. |

Association for Better Community Development (ABCD) was selected as the Charter One Housing Hero because of its excellence in developing affordable housing. ABCD's project in the City of Massillon, completed in the last year, brought 50 affordable single-family units and the first major housing development in the city's Fourth Ward. The need for affordable housing is so great, that Massillon Homes II is now under construction. |
